This will depend upon the complexity of the work involved. For a dining room table, for instance, we would normally look to allow 6-8 weeks to complete the project. We would always advise that you give us as much advance warning as possible. Expecting something to be made the next day is unrealistic.
Yes, I can. Whilst we make no secret of the fact that oak is our prime source of wood, we do offer furniture in other less expensive woods, such as ash, elm and chestnut. The finished product will always be in a traditional finish.
Because each piece of furniture I make is individually crafted, the price will reflect the time and level of detail required to produce a high-quality finish. If you have commissioned a specific item of furniture, prior to commencement of work, a full written quotation will be provided. We may not be the cheapest, but we strive to be the best!
Since our commissions and orders come from far and wide, we can arrange delivery to all parts of the UK – and even internationally where required. This will be discussed with you. Alternatively, you can arrange to collect your furniture directly from our East Sussex workshop.
The priority is always to ensure that your furniture arrives in immaculate condition.
Because of the nature of what we do, apart from in exceptional circumstances, it will not be possible to provide refunds. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding service and customer satisfaction and this has been our mantra since day one. We would never finish a project unless we were absolutely confident that it was in mint condition before despatch. If, however, you are not entirely satisfied with the product upon delivery, please contact us immediately and we will always do our level best to rectify any issues.
